Charities and non-profit groups across Guernsey have just one month left to apply for a share of £1.34m from a fund which supports organisations working to improve life for people in the bailiwick, organisers say.
The Social Investment Fund’s (SIF) major grants programme has handed out more than £6m since launching in 2021.
This year there would be just one funding round, allowing the fund to focus cash on projects and services the community needed most, said the SIF.
Registered charities and non-profit organisations could apply for grants of more than £15,000 which could be used for running costs, staff salaries, buildings or longer-term projects, including work planned from 2027, it added.
