She will report directly to Provident President and CEO Anthony Labozzetta and will serve as a member of the bank’s executive leadership team.

Vitelli succeeds Valerie Murray, a Provident spokesperson told NJBIZ. Murray had served in the position since 2017.

Meet the new leader

Vitelli brings to the role more than two decades of experience in wealth management, private banking, trust and estate planning, including serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Vitelli joined Beacon Trust in September 2025 as executive vice president and chief growth officer. Before that, she held various leadership roles at PNC for nearly 18 years, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also worked for Vanguard, The Private Family Office and Cozen O’Connor.

Additionally, she has practiced as an estates and tax attorney, Provident Bank noted.

Building the Beacon Trust team

Provident Bank announced four new Beacon Trust team members in March:

  • Jason Apuzzio – senior vice president, wealth management relationship manager
  • Samantha Booth – assistant vice president, wealth management relationship manager
  • Marc Oceanak – wealth management relationship manager
  • Louis Russo – wealth management business development officer

“Since joining Beacon Trust last year, Anna has made a significant impact on our organization through her vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes,” Labozzetta said in a statement.

“As we continue to expand our wealth management capabilities and strengthen our integrated approach to serving customers, Anna is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Beacon Trust and help shape the future of this important business,” Labozzetta added.

Beacon Trust is a full-service wealth management firm, which together with Beacon Investment Advisory Services Inc. has approximately $4 billion in assets under administration, according to Provident Bank.

In a LinkedIn post, Vitelli said, “So honored by this appointment and energized by the opportunity ahead. Provident Bank and Beacon Trust are building something meaningful for our clients and our communities and I’m proud to help lead that work. Thank you to the team that makes it possible every day!”

Vitelli earned her J.D. and an LL.M. in taxation from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
