With over a decade of experience in the financial services sector, Kavanagh joins the team following senior advisory roles at several large regional and national financial institutions.

Turley has strengthened its commitment to Net Zero Infrastructure with the strategic appointment of a new director to its growing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team.
Alan Pearson will be based in Bristol, supporting teams across the entire business. His appointment reflects Turley’s commitment to shaping a resilient, low-carbon built environment and leading conversations on net zero infrastructure, underpinned by the EIA team’s growing expertise and established track record in supporting carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuel, battery energy storage systems, and onshore wind projects.
He brings an established profile and deep delivery experience in the offshore wind sector, having led consenting strategies and managed large, multi-disciplinary teams across both onshore and offshore environments. His work includes significant expertise in securing Development Consent Orders for complex infrastructure projects.
In addition to bolstering the EIA team’s capabilities, Alan’s role will see him contribute across Turley’s wider business, offering expertise in the delivery of complex consenting strategies for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).

Law firm RWK Goodman has bolstered its residential property offering in the South West with the appointment of Helen Sandrone as a partner in its Bristol office. 
Helen joins from Bristol firm Cooke Painter, where she was a director and head its conveyancing department. As a Chartered Legal Executive and Licenced Conveyancer, she had advised clients across England and Wales on matters across freehold and leasehold properties, including right-to-buy, help-to-buy, lifetime ISAs, equity release and remortgages.
She also is the founder and chair of the Bristol Law Membership Group, which took over from the local CILEX branches, uniting more than 215 professionals from secretaries to barristers in a network focused on learning and collaboration.

South West financial experts Old Mill has announced three new partners.
