Clifton Wealth Partnership completes acquisition of Dukes IFA

Clifton Wealth Partnership has completed the acquisition of Dukes IFA, bringing in roughly 170 client households and £43m in assets under management (AUM).

Dukes IFA, based in Hertfordshire, has built a client base concentrated within a five-mile radius of its office.

The firm is led by Adrian Duke-Cohan, who has spent close to four decades in financial services. He will support the business during a two-year transitional period.

“I’ve spent many years building trust with clients and supporting them through different stages of life, so finding the right home for those relationship was essential,” Duke-Cohan explained.

“This next step is about making sure they remain in a strong position, with the right people around them for the future.”

Clifton Wealth Partnership, part of Clifton Group, is a financial planning and wealth management business with more than 15,000 clients and £3.7bn in AUM.

Era of buying advice firms simply for scale is over, says NextWealth

Anthony Carty, managing director of Clifton Wealth Partnership, added: “There is a strong alignment in how we think about client relationships and the role of financial planning over the long term.

“Our priority is to ensure clients continue to receive the same level of personal service they are used to, while benefiting from the wider support, technology and infrastructure we have in place across the group.”

Clifton Wealth Partnership is continuing to expand through acquisitions across the UK, supported by ongoing investment in technology, people and processes designed to assist advisers and maintain high standards of client service.
