Prime Insurance Company, an excess and surplus lines insurance carrier, has announced the appointment of Peggy E. Day as its Executive Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategic Advisor to the CEO.
Day has over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, having previously worked at Distinguished Programs where she played a significant part in the establishment of Energy Transition and its success in attaining the goal of writing $175M in GWP over a 3-year period.
Prior to Distinguished Programs the executive was served at Breckenridge Insurance Services in New York, where she led all technical aspects of developing property and casualty business, overseeing multiple concurrent objectives, and competing priorities, including securing capital, negotiating reinsurance capacity, and fronting arrangements, while reporting directly to the CEO.
Day’s expertise and leadership will help Prime realise its vision for the future, the firm noted, as well as evolve its operating systems to efficiently support ongoing change and revenue growth.
