Rochester, N.Y.— Monroe County is offering assistance to local nonprofits still recovering from the COVID pandemic.
Eligible organizations can now apply for direct operating aid grants through a $6 million fund.
It’s part of a $25 million ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) spending plan passed by the Monroe County Legislature earlier this week.
The plan focused on housing and health initiatives, among other things, but did not include funding for suburban youth and senior centers.
