Inflexor Ventures secures ₹400 crore first close for tech-focused Fund III

Inflexor Ventures, a venture capital firm, today announced the first close of its Fund III, Inflexor Technology Discovery Fund, securing approximately ₹400 crore. The Fund is anchored by the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) and HDFC AMC Select AIF FoF (HDFC FoF), and has also seen participation from international institutions.

Building on the track record of Fund I (2016 vintage) and Fund II (2021 vintage), Inflexor Fund III will continue backing founders building differentiated businesses in science, engineering and technology domains with high barriers to entry.

Investing primarily at the pre-Series A and Series A stages with initial cheques of ₹15–45 crore, the Fund expects to build a portfolio of 22–25 companies. Compared to its earlier funding rounds, Fund III places greater emphasis on Series A opportunities as the Indian venture ecosystem matures and a growing number of companies demonstrate early product-market fit and global scalability.

With the first close completed, Fund III has commenced deployment into a set of high-conviction opportunities and expects to announce its first investments in the coming weeks.

“India’s innovation ecosystem has reached an inflection point. We’re seeing a growing pipeline of globally ambitious companies built on differentiated science, engineering and technology, creating a compelling opportunity to partner with founders earlier in their scaling journey. Fund III reflects our conviction in this opportunity and our commitment to being long-term partners to exceptional founders,” said Venkat Vallabhaneni, Founder and Managing Director of Inflexor Ventures.
