Silent auction launched by the Hunt Family Fund to raise money for causes close to John Hunt’s heart

A SPECIAL silent auction has gone live online for the Hunt Family Fund, which was founded in memory of BBC commentator John Hunt’s family.

Hunt, and his daughter Amy, created the fund in order to help raise cash for charities and causes that help and inspire young women.

There are 25 prizes on offer, including behind the scenes access with ITV Racing, the BBC’s Premier League highlights show Match Of The Day and Sky’s Monday Night Football.

Michael Owen is offering a personal guided tour around his Manor House Stables, while other racing-related items include a luxury weekend in Paris for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe meeting in October.

Hunt said: “This is a great way to provide support to a number of causes which would have been dear to Carol, Hannah and Louise and reflect the love, care and positivity they radiated to the world.

“We’re so grateful to all those who have donated prizes and hope as many people as possible will get involved in making generous bids.”

The silent auction went live today and will end on the evening of December 11.
