Police announced a murder investigation had been launched yesterday (Tuesday, October 21) after a girl was found dead at an address in Middle Street, Islip.
A heavy police presence and ambulances were seen in the residential road yesterday, and pictures from the scene this morning (Wednesday) show a police cordon remains in place at a property on the street.

A statement from Thames Valley Police’s senior investigating officer, detective chief inspector Sally Spencer, earlier said: “Firstly, I would like to share our condolences with the family of the girl who very sadly has died.
“We have launched a homicide investigation, but we are still in the early stages and will provide more details as soon as we are able to.
