Hoxton Wealth announces two senior hires from Titan and SJP

International independent financial adviser Hoxton Wealth has appointed Katherine Rabaiotti as director of compliance and Jamie McNish as regional director for London.

Rabaiotti joins Hoxton from Titan Wealth where she held the position of director of compliance, while McNish has moved over from St James’s Place (SJP).

Rabaiotti, who has also held positions at Fairstone and Quilter, said: “I was drawn to Hoxton because it combines entrepreneurial energy with a strong sense of purpose.

“I was also attracted to the collaborative culture, where commercial growth and regulatory excellence are treated as complementary, not conflicting, priorities.

“The group is expanding globally, yet it remains client-focused and committed to doing things the right way.

“For me, that balance of ambition and integrity is very appealing. It felt like the right environment where I could both contribute my experience and continue to grow.”

Rabaiotti added that in her first year at the company she wants to “get under the skin of the business” in order to understand how each part operates, as well as build strong relationships and deliver “quick wins that make a tangible difference”.

Her aim “is to help Hoxton build a culture and framework that supports growth but never loses sight of clients’ best interests”.

Earlier this year Hoxton Wealth opened its new London office.

McNish said: “Having spent the last decade leading SJP businesses in London, the opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-growing firm with clear goals and aspirations was too good to pass up.

“When I met Chris Ball (CEO) and Jonathan Jay (UK MD), I was struck by their passion – not just for the business, but for delivering outstanding client outcomes at scale.

“The platform that Chris and the team have built is incredible, enabling advisers to provide genuine financial planning to all clients, regardless of where they’re from and where they hope to be in the future.

“I genuinely believe our proposition is unique in the market. I’m delighted to be part of the team and excited to see how far we can take this.

“We have a brilliant team here at Hoxton in the UK, and my priority is to grow it with the right people – those with the ambition and drive to deliver excellent client experiences and help build our brand and reputation across London and beyond.”

McNish added that he had a lot to learn as he has spent the last decade in a restricted business and now has to “get to grips with what it takes to offer truly independent financial advice in the UK.”

His aim is for Hoxton Wealth in London to “become the go-to firm for internationally minded professionals across the city who are seeking expert financial advice.”

Hoxton Wealth CEO Chris Ball added: “Katherine and Jamie are genuine leaders that have a proven track record in their respective areas of expertise.

“Our new London office is quickly becoming a centre of excellence, where we are attracting extremely talented people to, in many cases from larger competitors, to become part of something that we believe, is very special.”
