Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly shares glimpses from her visit to the Mahakumbh: ‘We were so mesmerized…’


Rupali Ganguly, best known for her role in Anupamaa, recently visited the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela. She has shared several glimpses from visit as she took the holy dip in the Triveni Samgam along with her family.

She shared pictures and videos of her performing the Shahi Snan at the Mahakumbh Mela on Instagram of both the days they visited. The first post’s caption read, “Alokik, avismaraniya, adbhudh, snatan, ganga maiyya, mahakumbh, shahi snan, 12-02-2024 Blessed to have experienced this with the family We were so mesmerized ki forgot to take the customary pictures during the snan …. These r screen grabs … the faith , the people , the dharm , the power the all encompassing and overwhelming divinity Har Har Gange Har Har Mahadev.”

She was seen posing with her husband Ashwin Verma and their son Rudransh in the pictures.

The actress, deeply moved by the experience, described the moment as profoundly spiritual, stating that the divine energy was so overwhelming that they “forgot to take customary pictures” during the ritual, resorting to screen grabs later.

Despite this, the images beautifully reflect the devotion, faith, and cultural significance of the occasion, leaving fans captivated. Dressed in traditional attire, Rupali’s photos perfectly encapsulate the sacred atmosphere of the Maha Kumbh, radiating an aura of deep reverence and spiritual connection.

While in the second post from day 2, she shared pictures of her performing the Ganga Snan.
