Titan Wealth acquires Channel Islands tax firm

Titan Wealth has acquired Channel Islands tax advisory firm LTS Tax, expanding its specialist cross-border tax capabilities.

The deal, subject to regulatory approval, follows Titan Wealth’s recently announced acquisition of Progeny International.

LTS provides UK, Jersey and Guernsey tax advisory and compliance services, including personal and corporate taxation, trust taxation, inheritance tax planning, wealth structuring, double tax treaty and residency guidance, accounting and global mobility taxation.

The firm primarily serves high-net-worth individuals, trustees and corporates, many of whom are internationally based and require UK and Channel Islands tax advice.

LTS has 14 qualified UK chartered tax advisers and seven qualified accountants across its Channel Islands offices.

The acquisition will allow Titan Wealth to combine LTS’s UK and offshore tax expertise with its existing financial planning, investment management, platform and custody capabilities.

Titan Wealth said demand for integrated cross-border advice is increasing due to greater regulatory complexity, international mobility and the movement of high-net-worth individuals and families across jurisdictions.

The deal follows Titan Wealth’s acquisition of Progeny International, which has operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Belgium and the Dubai International Financial Centre and provides tax-led financial advice to internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.

Andrew Fearon, joint group CEO and head of M&A at Titan Wealth, said: “The acquisition of LTS is another important step as we continue to add market leading capabilities to our wealth management offering.”

Paul O’Neill, managing director of LTS Tax, said joining Titan Wealth would create opportunities for clients and employees while giving clients access to a broader range of wealth management services.

Titan Wealth has approximately £45bn in assets under management or advice and provides financial planning, investment management, platform and custody services to retail and institutional clients.
