Indosuez Wealth Management marks 25 years of private markets investment

The platform gives wealthy clients access to investment opportunities beyond traditional stock markets, with a team of 70 specialists working across nine locations in Europe and Asia.

Part of the Crédit Agricole Group, Indosuez Wealth Management also operates in the Principality through CFM Indosuez.

Investing beyond the stock market

Over the past 25 years, the platform has helped finance more than 4,000 privately owned companies through over 600 investment funds.

Its activities cover private equity, private debt and infrastructure, alongside 110 direct investments and 120 transactions involving existing investment holdings.

The business has also developed partnerships with more than 120 asset management companies across Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific, providing access to a wide range of investment opportunities.

Unlike publicly traded shares, private market investments generally involve longer commitments and can be more difficult to sell, with investors exposed to the risk of capital loss.

Looking towards the next stage

Indosuez is seeking to broaden access to private markets for its clients, including wealthy individuals, family offices and professional investors.

Nicolas Renauld, Global Head of Private Markets at Indosuez Wealth Management, said the ambition was to develop Tiera Capital into a global platform serving different categories of investors.

The bank reports that assets managed through the platform have grown by an average of 15% annually over the past two decades, reflecting increasing demand for alternative investments.

Across its wider wealth management operations, Indosuez reported €233 billion in client assets at the end of 2025 and employs more than 4,300 people across 15 territories worldwide.
