HDFC Bank has deployed the Infosys Finacle Wealth Management Solution as part of its digital transformation strategy, replacing legacy systems with an API-driven platform designed to streamline domestic and offshore wealth operations.
The implementation has enabled the bank to consolidate multiple systems onto a unified platform, supporting broader investment product coverage, personalised wealth services and improved operational efficiency. The solution has also integrated more than 350 APIs, helping automate compliance processes, accelerate product launches and facilitate real-time transaction processing.
Rakesh K Singh, Group Head – Private Banking, International Banking, Financial Institutions and BaaS at HDFC Bank, said “With the Finacle Wealth Management Solution, we have consolidated our domestic and offshore businesses, automated key operations, and empowered relationship managers with real-time insights.”
The platform has covered 12 asset classes, including mutual funds, fixed income securities, private equity, structured products, insurance and alternative investments. It also includes tools for risk assessment and goal-based financial planning.
Sajit Vijayakumar, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys Finacle, said the collaboration reflected the growing digital transformation of India’s wealth management sector. He added that the implementation had positioned HDFC Bank to strengthen client engagement while supporting future growth through a modern front-to-back-office wealth management platform.
HDFC Bank has digitised its margin lending processes through the new system, enabling real-time collateral verification, automated workflows and enhanced risk controls aimed at speeding up approvals and improving valuation accuracy. The deployment has also introduced multi-currency portfolio management, relationship manager workbenches and automated reporting to support client servicing.
In addition, the platform has streamlined operational processes such as NAV updates, systematic investment plans, withdrawals, reconciliations and corporate actions, while supporting high-volume deal settlements across the bank’s wealth business.
