Orange Liberia and ZTE announced the successful completion of a project to build new communication sites, called RuralPilot EcoSites, across Liberia, significantly enhancing network coverage in rural areas. Arelion and Ciena
successfully completed the world’s first 1.6 terabits-per-second wavelengths data transmission in a live network field
trial. NEC will launch a new system using biometric authentication technology that is capable of quickly authenticating large numbers of people at one time, even while they are in motion. The
system is expected to accelerate admission and reduce congestion for busy events and infrastructure. NEC will begin providing the system globally in September 2024, initially focusing on Japan,
the United States, and Singapore. EE launched the UK’s newest mobile network, 5G standalone, across fifteen major UK cities.  

Tishomingo Connect, a subsidiary of Tishomingo County Electric Power Association, has deployed Adtran’s Mosaic One SaaS solution to enhance rural broadband access. Leveraging Adtran’s full suite of
fiber-to-the-premises and home networking technologies, Tishomingo Connect is ensuring that more households and businesses can benefit from its broadband service. Huawei and partners
National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and the start-up PROBOTEK, have successfully tested a forest fire prevention system in Greece. ZTE announced it has successfully passed the Common Criteria EAL4+ certification for its 5G RAN solution. This
certificate, issued by TrustCB, represents the highest level of CC standard certification in the realm of wireless products.  

Keysight released the InfiniiVision HD3 Series, a 14-bit analog-to-digital converter oscilloscope, delivering four times the signal resolution and half the noise floor of other
general-purpose oscilloscopes. Newly designed and built from ground up with a custom application-specific integrated circuit and deep memory architecture, the HD3 Series enables engineers to
quickly detect and fix signal issues in a
variety of applications. SummitIG and Neutral Networks formed a joint venture, SierraIG, a pure-play dark fiber infrastructure provider in Mexico, committed to building purpose-built and underground dense fiber
infrastructure in key data center markets throughout the country, starting with the Queretaro and Monterrey markets. EXFO released two new field test solutions that make EXFO-quality testing accessible to all technicians supporting today’s
expansive FTTH deployments. EXFO’s FIP-200 Connector CheckerTM ensures trouble-free broadband activation in one click, while the AXS-120 mini-Optical Time Domain Reflectometer improves field
testing of last mile FTTH access networks.

Cyta has chosen Netcracker to deliver a full-stack IT
deployment
as part of its large-scale digital transformation ageNDA. AST SpaceMobile successfully launched its first five commercial satellites, called BlueBirds, from Cape Canaveral,
Florida. VIAVI introduced a new optical connector
inspection solution
for next-generation transceivers. Its FVAM-2000 is the latest addition to the company’s bench-top microscopy line. Spirent announced significant enhancements to
its Octobox Wi-Fi testing solutions, designed to
address the evolving needs of Internet Service Providers and equipment manufacturers. Northrop Grumman has successfully demonstrated the MQ-4C Triton navigation system’s ability to operate
at high latitudes, deep within the
Arctic Circle
, delivering on its commitment to provide critical intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting capabilities in the High North.

implemented a commercial deployment of Native-AI-based RAN

organizations to harness the power of metadata for faster, more confident decision-making while maximizing the impact of their AI initiatives. Jabra launched Jabra ClearSpeech, an AI-driven solution to
remove unwanted noise for a better
