Opinion | Babylon had cannabis tax revenue of $1.2M in first 9 months. Why the delay, Riverhead?

To the Editor:

Hey, Town Board, here’s a news flash: The Town of Babylon realized a tax revenue of 1.2 million dollars after only 9 months of legalizing the sale of cannabis. As Casey Stengel would say: “you can look it up.”

So instead of genuflecting to developers, get to work.

The board approved the sale of cannabis so what are you waiting for?
