With a successful business strategy driving growth and returns for investors, Dubai Investments is looking forward to continued expansion. “Dubai Investments’ strong financial performance in 2024 has laid a robust foundation for sustained expansion and long-term growth,” says Khalid Bin Kalban, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments.
“The company remains focused on accelerating growth by actively evaluating investment opportunities across the Middle East, North Africa and other regions, exploring strategic divestments, and assessing select group companies for potential IPOs. These initiatives align with the group’s vision to enhance market presence, maximise shareholder value, and drive sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
The CEO has gone on record earlier this year that five companies have been shortlisted to go public.
Robust growth in real estate
The company anticipates robust growth in the real estate sector, with the launch of mixed-use developments in the UAE and the handover of the first phase of Danah Bay on Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah this year. Newly launched Violet Tower at Jumeirah Village Circle has seen healthy off-plan sales and is on track to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026. Central to its plans is the continued growth of Al Mal Capital REIT, reinforcing its role as a consistent source of dividend income.
The company also aims to deepen its presence across key sectors including healthcare, education, financial services, AI, and business solutions.
Streamlining and optimising the portfolio remains another priority. Dubai Investments is actively reviewing non-core assets and exploring divestment opportunities to boost efficiency and maximise shareholder returns.
Enhancing its competitive edge
As Dubai Investments celebrates 30 years of success, Kalban is optimistic about the future. “We have learnt from the past,” he says. “If we have made a mistake along the way, that’s now knowledge. With that knowledge, we will transform the company, by creating new companies and expanding the existing companies or concepts.”
Dubai Investments is also exploring the replication of its successful business models in new markets. “Government heads and companies come and see what we have done and they want to replicate not only Dubai Investments Park but also something similar to Dubai Investments in their home ground, countries, or different emirates because they think it will create opportunities,” says Kalban.
Supported by a strong foundation and a bold vision for the future, Dubai Investments is well positioned to navigate evolving market dynamics, enhance its competitive edge, and drive sustainable growth.
