Kroll, an independent provider of global risk and financial advisory services, announced that Katherine Keefe will join as Managing Director and Global Cyber Insurance Industry Lead, overseeing the firm’s worldwide cyber insurance capabilities.

Keefe previously served as the US Cyber Incident Management Leader at Marsh, where she directed cyber response and event management efforts related to data breaches and ransomware attacks, advising clients on both pre- and post-incident management while overseeing relationships with breach coaches, forensic investigators, and cyber insurers.

Before her role at Marsh, she was the Head of Breach Response Services at Beazley and possesses extensive expertise in regulatory, transactional, compliance, and risk management issues. Keefe has also been a partner at several law firms, including Reed Smith LLP, and has worked as in-house counsel for an academic medical centre and a major Blue Cross plan.
