C&C Insurance Brokers has expanded its presence across the Midlands after agreeing to a three-year partnership with Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
The independent transport insurance broker will become an Official Partner at Edgbaston through to the end of the 2029 cricket season, giving the business a prominent platform at one of the UK’s best-known sporting venues.
As part of the deal, C&C branding will appear on Tier 3 of the RES Wyatt Stand, as well as on Edgbaston’s mid-tier LED screens during domestic and international fixtures. The exposure will also extend to major events including Vitality Blast Finals Day.
Alongside the venue branding, the agreement gives C&C opportunities to host activations and use digital and matchday platforms to connect with supporters, corporate partners and businesses across the region.
The deal builds on the broker’s existing involvement in cricket. C&C already has partnerships with Lancashire Cricket at Emirates Old Trafford and Yorkshire County Cricket Club at Headingley, and has previously maintained a presence at Surrey’s Kia Oval.
Its latest agreement is also intended to raise the profile of C&C Employee Benefits and support business development in its Birmingham and Nottingham offices.
The partnership comes ahead of a busy period for Edgbaston, which is due to stage major international fixtures including England’s Ashes Test against Australia in 2027 and a Test against India in 2029.
Malcolm Cooke, managing director of C&C Insurance Brokers said: “Seeing our branding featured so prominently during the recent Blast Finals Day was a fantastic way to launch what we believe will be a hugely successful partnership. Edgbaston is one of the world’s great cricket venues and offers an incredible platform to showcase both C&C Insurance Brokers and C&C Employee Benefits. Cricket has always been an important part of our business, and this partnership continues our commitment to supporting the game while creating new opportunities to engage with clients and businesses across the Midlands. With major international fixtures on the horizon, including next year’s Ashes Test, we’re incredibly excited about what the next three years will bring.”
Abraham Khan, finance director at Warwickshire County Cricket Club said: “We’re delighted to welcome C&C Insurance Brokers as an Official Partner of Warwickshire County Cricket Club. C&C has developed a strong reputation for supporting cricket across the country, making them a natural fit for Edgbaston. We’re looking forward to working together to create memorable experiences for supporters, partners and the wider business community, whilst promoting the C&C brand during some of the biggest occasions in the cricketing calendar.”
