— Community Care N Share Cafe of Emily thanked its donors for their generosity during its fall fund drive. Care N Share depends entirely on grants and donations.
As of mid-October, it had received donations totaling almost $10,000 of its annual budget of $43,000 from supporters.
This appeal was also funded in part by the Initiative Foundation, a regional community foundation.
Since 2008, Care N Share has served over 172,800 meals to its neighbors within a 30-mile radius of Emily through the support of grants, businesses, community, supporters and volunteers.
Care N Share is located at 40141 Highway 6, at Wesleyen Church in Emily, and is open for free meals from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Dine in or carry out are available.
