Being problem solvers
“Welcome to our 4th Annual Energy Conference,” NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka said in her opening remarks. “We are really excited to present this program for you this morning. I feel all the energy in the room. We’re going to put all that energy to good work.”
Siekerka gave a shoutout to NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Ray Cantor, who organized and oversaw the event.
“We’re very excited that at NJBIA we have the opportunity to lead and collaborate and coordinate in this space – thanks to our wonderful Ray Cantor, who put this amazing program on today,” said Siekerka. “We’re going to have some amazing presentations. We’re going to talk about an all-of-the-above strategy relative to affordability, accessibility – based on best available technology.
“And all of the great things that are wonderful opportunities – and come along with some challenges at the same time,” she continued. “So today, we want to be problem solvers. We want to be educated. We want to be informed. We want to be fulfilled. We want to take the ideas that we hear today – and be problem solvers.”
“This conference will offer a comprehensive platform for professional stakeholders involved in energy policy and advocacy to engage in dialogue, share knowledge, and explore innovative solutions,” said Cantor. “We look forward to bringing clarity and context to some very timely and important questions.”
