Global Fund Summit 2026: Where the Market Meets

Clearstream’s Global Fund Summit returns to Luxembourg on October 28 and 29, 2026, for its 21st edition, bringing together more than 500 senior industry professionals for two days of market insight, strategic debate and high-value networking. With an expanded programme, new sponsors and media partners, and a dedicated networking dinner ahead of the main conference, the summit is set to be one of the key industry gatherings of the year. As fund distribution, investment products and operating models are being reshaped at speed, Fund Summit remains the place where the market meets.

For more than two decades, Fund Summit has brought together the people shaping the investment fund ecosystem. This October, the event returns with a programme focused firmly on what comes next: the changing global economic order, the expansion of private markets, tokenized funds, artificial intelligence, ETF growth and the rise of digital investment platforms. Together, these themes make the summit a practical agenda for leaders looking to understand where the industry is heading — and what it means for their business.

Hosted in Luxembourg, at the heart of Europe and its capital markets, the summit reflects Clearstream’s role in connecting investment funds, distribution channels and market participants across the continent.

“Fund Summit is valuable because it brings the right decision-makers into one room at the right moment,” says Lisa Koenig, head of strategy at Clearstream Fund Services. “This year’s agenda is built around the strategic questions that will shape how our industry grows, competes and serves investors in the years ahead.”

The programme will open with a global economic outlook from Janet Henry, global chief economist at HSBC, examining what investors can expect as markets respond to shifting trade dynamics, policy uncertainty and structural change.

From there, the focus turns to some of the fastest-moving areas of the market. A panel moderated by Stéphane Pesch, CEO of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association, will examine what it will take to scale private markets across the wealth ecosystem. Further sessions will consider whether tokenized funds are ready for mainstream adoption, how AI is changing the way asset managers operate, and where the next phase of ETF growth will come from.

The programme will also look beyond products and infrastructure. Discussions on digital investment platforms will explore how firms can engage the next generation of investors, while a closing session will examine how AI is transforming productivity, decision-making and the skills needed in the workplace.

“Economics, products, technology, distribution and talent are all moving at once,” says Koenig. “The value of Fund Summit is that it connects these themes and turns them into a focused industry conversation.”

A summit that continues to grow

More than 500 professionals are expected to attend, representing asset managers, wealth managers, distributors, technology providers, market infrastructures and industry associations — a cross-section of the fund ecosystem that makes the summit a concentrated meeting point for insight, partnerships and new business conversations.

For the first time, Fund Summit will begin with a dedicated networking dinner sponsored by Belgian asset manager KBC on October 28, ahead of the main conference on October 29. The addition gives participants more time to connect beyond the stage, turning the summit into a stronger platform for relationship-building, informal exchange and focused industry dialogue.

“The best industry conversations often happen between sessions,” Koenig adds. “The dinner gives the community more time to exchange views, build relationships and continue the dialogue beyond the conference stage.”

The 2026 edition will also welcome new sponsors and media partners, broadening the network of organisations contributing to the summit.

“Strong partners help make the summit more relevant, more diverse and more connected to the market,” says Koenig. “We are pleased to welcome new sponsors and media partners as the event continues to grow in reach and impact.”

Fund Summit’s long-standing slogan, “Where the Market Meets,” captures what the event has become. After 21 editions, it is not simply a place to hear about change. It is where senior decision-makers, innovators and market participants come together to discuss the shifts that will shape the fund industry in 2026 and beyond.

For anyone looking to understand where the fund industry is heading — and to meet the people shaping that direction — Fund Summit Luxembourg 2026 is a must-attend occasion.

The summit takes place at Kinepolis Luxembourg on October 29, preceded by the networking dinner on October 28. View the full agenda and register via the Fund Summit registration page: Global Fund Summit 2026.
