Leadway Assurance, CubeCover and Vitse Technologies have signed on as official partners for the fifth edition of Insurance Meets Tech (IMT), reinforcing growing collaboration between insurers and technology firms as the industry accelerates its digital transformation.
The organisers of the annual conference said Leadway Assurance will serve as Official Insurer, CubeCover as Official Digital Insurer, while Vitse Technologies will be the Official Technology Partner for IMT 5.0, scheduled for September 18, 2026, at the Balmoral Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
The early commitment by the three organisations reflects the increasing convergence of insurance and technology, a key theme of this year’s conference with the theme: “Building Insurance That Connects”
Leadway Assurance returns as the conference’s Official Insurer for the fifth consecutive year, extending a partnership that underscores its commitment to innovation and digital adoption within the insurance industry. The company, with more than five decades of operations, has continued to deploy technology to improve customer experience and broaden insurance access.
CubeCover joins as Official Digital Insurer, bringing its technology-driven insurance model that leverages artificial intelligence to simplify access to insurance products. Through integrations with telecoms operators, fintechs and retail platforms, the company said it has reached over 4.5 million users using APIs, USSD and mobile channels, offering health, motor, property, life and device insurance products. It is targeting more than 10 million users by 2027.
Vitse Technologies, the Official Technology Partner, provides enterprise technology solutions for insurers across Africa. Its platform supports life and general insurance administration, microinsurance, broking, claims management, agency administration and automated accounting, enabling insurers to improve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and customer engagement.
Speaking on the partnerships, Convener of Insurance Meets Tech and Chief Executive Officer of Creato Urban, Odion Aleobua, described the organisations as key players in the industry’s ongoing transformation.
According to him, the partnership reflects the growing recognition that the future of insurance depends on collaboration between insurers, technology firms and other stakeholders.
