WAUSAU − The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin has launched the Women’s Fund for Marathon County.
The Women’s Fund will serve as a dedicated philanthropic resource to invest in programs and partnerships that empower women and strengthen families. The fund aims to support women and girls in the region by addressing barriers to economic security, health care, education and safety, according to a community announcement.
The Community Foundation has decades of experience addressing community needs and connecting donors with impactful initiatives. The foundation has already raised more than $420,000 toward its $1.15 million goal.
