MICHIGAMME, Mich. (WLUC) – The Michigamme Area Halloween Fund put on a Halloween party Saturday.
Kids played games for prizes and competed in a costume contest.
Paula Ron Caglioni, the Michigamme Area Halloween Fund President, was enthusiastic about this year’s party. She has been involved with the event for years and said she’s made improvements.
“So I’ve got fifty years involved,” said Caglioni. “I’ve made this party a lot bigger. There’s no more bring cans in, pay a dollar donation to come through the door.”
She said they now also give trick or treat bags to the kids with treats, toys, free game tickets, and coupons to restaurants. This is her last year putting on the party, but she’s leaving it in good hands as her daughter will take over next year.
