True Potential Wealth Management CEO, Steve Hutton, has departed the organisation after seven years, a spokesperson has confirmed.
Hutton, who has been acting as CEO for eight months, resigned from his position on July 23 having previously been a partner for the firm.
In a statement to FT Adviser, a spokesperson for True Potential confirmed that Hutton has decided to leave the organisation.
“Throughout his time at True Potential, Hutton has played a key role in the growth of the business, and the development of True Potential Wealth Management,” the spokesperson added.
“During his seven years at TPWM, we have seen adviser number, assets under advice, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation grow materially.
“We’re very grateful for Hutton’s years of leadership and commitment to the organisation.”
The spokesperson also stated that True Potential Wealth Management will be recruiting a full-time replacement for Hutton in due course but, in the meantime, its chief client officer, Jamie Sexton, would cover the role on an interim basis.
“This allows us to remain firmly focused on delivering exceptional value to our clients, investing in our award-winning technology and accelerating our strategic goals across our key growth areas,” the spokesperson said.
Hutton had been with True Potential since June 2018, following three years of working closely with the group through his previous role at UBS Asset Management.
