Law firm Birketts and its corporate team in Sevenoaks, Kent has shared its role advising a private equity firm on a pair of recent investments.
The deals saw B.P. Marsh & Company back both wealth management provider Nine Edge and London insurance broker Ventura Risk Partners.
B.P. Marsh’s investment in Nine Edge will enable the business to acquire debt support provider R M S Financial and support its continued growth and development.
The Birketts team advising on the deal was led by corporate partner Helen Garner, supported by Harry Close (corporate), Jessica Caws (co-head of financial services), Harriet Hutchinson (employment) and Robbie Watson (tax).

B.P. Marsh also provided a £2m secured loan facility and equity investment to Ventura Risk Partners, which places energy risks into the Lloyd’s and wider London insurance markets.
