Accountancy and business advisory firm Azets Wealth Management has made a number of appointments in South West England and Wales.
Simon Stygall joins the firm as a chartered financial planner and director.
Stygall’s focus will be on lifestyle planning for business owners and individuals. He was previously with financial advice firm Flying Colours and he will be working from Azets’ offices in Bristol and Gloucester.
Iain Sanderson, office managing partner and tax partner, said: “Our Bristol office continues to grow and Simon, from our bases here and in Gloucester, will be helping clients with lifestyle planning, broadening our wealth management offering in the local market.”
Simon Stygall said: “I look forward very much to working with colleagues across the wider business at Azets in delivering exceptional outcomes and shared passion of working with clients to meet their individual needs and objectives.”
In a separate appointment at the Bristol office, at Temple Quay, Tom Sharman has joined as audit senior from Warrener Stewart in Greater London. Sharman will be responsible for work involved in the statutory audits of companies.
At Azets’ Gloucester office at Gloucester Business Park, Brockworth, Becky Hudson has been promoted to office managing partner. Hudson, who joined the accountancy world as a school leaver 20 years ago, is a senior statutory auditor.
Meanwhile, in Cardiff, Vicky Fisher has joined Azets as assistant manager at the firm’s debt advisory team. Fisher, who was with Lloyds Bank for 22 years and sits on the board at Business in Focus, a social enterprise which helps Welsh start-ups, in a volunteer role as a non-executive director, will be working with Martyn Freeman, a debt advisory director based in Gloucester.
