Examples of discount include:

  • Single Person Discount: If you live alone, you can get a 25% discount on your bill, regardless of your income or savings.

  • Second Adult Rebate: If you don’t qualify for the main Council Tax Reduction because your income is too high, but you live with another adult on a low income, you might be eligible for a Second Adult Rebate based on their financial situation.

  • Disability Reductions: You may be eligible for a reduction if you or someone you live with is disabled and lives in a larger property because of adaptations needed (e.g., an extra bathroom or room for a wheelchair).
