Roads have been closed following the discovery of a “possible hazardous substance” at a property in East Dunbartonshire.
Officers were called to a property in Lenzie at around 3.20pm on Tuesday.
Larch Avenue, Moss Road and Gallowhill Road, between Moss Road and Larch Avenue have been closed and the public has been asked to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Larch Avenue, Moss Road and Gallowhill Road, between Moss Road and Larch Avenue, in Lenzie are closed following a report of a possible hazardous substance found at a property around 3.20pm on Tuesday, October 28.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“The public are advised to avoid the area.”
