Gov. Pillen to unveil property tax reform plan

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Gov. Jim Pillen says he has a plan to slash Nebraska property taxes by 50 percent.

He plans to share that plan during a press conference Thursday at 10 a.m. You can watch it live when it begins in the video player above and on the 1011 NOW app on Roku, AppleTV, FireTV and AndroidTV.

The governor is pulling state senators in for a special legislative session to tackle the issue of property taxes beginning July 25.
