Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company (VALIC), a subsidiary of insurance group AIG, has dropped Wellington Management and JP Morgan as subadvisors from two separate funds, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Effective September 30, Wellington will no longer be a subadvisor on the $2.8bn VALIC Company Science & Technology fund (VCSTX). As a result, portfolio managers Bruce L. Glazer, who has been on the fund since 2007, Jeffrey S. Wantman, Euhnak Bae and Brian Barbetta will come off the fund.
