A group of New York lawmakers wants the state pension fund to sell off its large stake in Tesla Inc., the electric vehicle manufacturer controlled by billionaire Elon Musk.
The lawmakers, citing concerns about Musk and Tesla’s plummeting stock price, asked state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli to begin divesting the stock immediately.
