LOWELL — On the morning of June 7, the Mahoney Family Fund held its first, free educational program of 2024 — Signs, Symptoms & Solutions of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.
Speakers at the well-attended breakfast event, held at Long Meadow Golf Club, included state Rep. Tram Nguyen (D-Andover); Stacie LeBlanc, CEO of the UP Institute; and Detective Miguel Quinones of the Lowell Police Department Family Services Unit.
Mahoney Family Fund programs are designed to bring awareness and find solutions to prevent domestic violence and child abuse. They aim to restore a sense of safety and harmony within families and communities.
