Based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, CeraPhi Energy is an energy supplier with a mission to redefine how the world accesses clean, renewable heat and power.
At the heart of its innovation is CeraPhiWell, a patented closed-loop geothermal technology that delivers continuous, zero-emission energy. Unlike conventional geothermal systems, CeraPhi’s advanced subsurface design eliminates the need to extract fluids from the ground, dramatically reducing environmental impact and opening up new areas for sustainable energy generation.
Recognising the supplier’s “exceptional impact” in its field, the judges were particularly impressed by CeraPhi’s use of the CeraPhiWell system at Scunthorpe General Hospital, which they said is “helping the hospital significantly reduce fossil fuel reliance, cut carbon emissions, and move closer to net zero goals”.

Departure Lounge Media Group, based in Gorleston, Norfolk, specialises in delivering cutting-edge visual and immersive media solutions for the offshore wind, gas, energy and power sectors.
Founded in 2005 by Trevor Fuller as a recording studio, the business has since expanded into a nationally recognised video and media agency.
Its services include video production, photography, aerial drone imagery, 360° VR tours, bespoke training modules and long-term timelapse construction camera work.
The judges said that Departure Lounge has demonstrated “remarkable progress since its early days as a startup” and its journey “reflects a strong commitment to creativity, problem solving and pushing boundaries within the industry”.
The business’ development of a VR solution designed to help users overcome seasickness was described as “particularly impressive”, showcasing “both technical expertise and a thoughtful approach to real-world challenges”.

Saxon Air
Saxon Air is a UK-based private aviation company based at Norwich Airport. It aims to offer more than just charter services, striving instead for tailored, safe and sustainable aviation experiences.
The business helped to pioneer Aviation East, a regional strategy to position the East of England as an international leader in advanced aviation mobility and clean aviation technology, and is backing up its green goals with electric aircraft trials, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) integration and research and development collaborations.
Saxon Air impressed the judges with its “bold commitment to transforming aviation into a cleaner, more sustainable industry”.
They said that the launch of the business’ cutting-edge Flight Training Centre “further demonstrates its leadership in decarbonising pilot training and shaping the future of sustainable aviation”.
