For the first time since Hurricane Milton hit the state, Duke Energy Florida issued specific estimates Friday for when customers can expect power to be fully restored.
For customers in Pinellas and Pasco counties, that target is Tuesday, Oct. 15 by 11:59 p.m.
In a news release, the company said some customers will have their power restored earlier but the estimates represent when “the majority who can receive power are expected to be restored.”
The news is a little better for Duke customers in Brevard, Citrus, Hernando, Highlands, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties. The company estimated their electricity would be restored by the end of the day Sunday.
