The winners span wealth management, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) banking, consumer lending and customer engagement, highlighting how institutions are developing more integrated and scalable banking models across Qatar, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Wealth management combines personalised advisory with digital engagement

Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) was named Best Wealth Management Bank in Qatar for developing a wealth management proposition combining personalised advisory, digital capabilities and data-driven customer engagement.

CBQ’s model integrates investment advisory, relationship banking and wealth services. Customers can access investment solutions, financial planning and wealth management through advisory channels and premium banking centres, combining relationship-led support with digital capabilities.

The approach reflects the increasing importance of bringing together personalised advice and digital engagement, as banks seek to deepen client relationships and develop more integrated wealth management propositions.

SME banking strengthens access to financing and digital services

Banque Misr was named Best SME Bank in Egypt for its comprehensive approach to supporting SMEs through financing, digital services and specialised banking solutions.

The bank combines SME financing with digital capabilities designed to simplify access to banking services and support businesses across different stages of growth. Its approach brings together lending, transaction services and dedicated SME support within a broader business banking proposition.

By combining access to financing with digital and value-added services, Banque Misr demonstrates how banks are developing more integrated propositions to support SME growth.

Digital capabilities deepen across lending, customer engagement

Mashreq Cards was recognised as Best Digital Consumer Lending Service in the UAE for Flash Cash, which combines automated underwriting, biometric verification and instant fund disbursement within a paperless lending journey.
