Hilltop Food Group has launched its 2026 Community Fund, offering grants of up to £10,000 to support groups within a 15-mile radius of Newtown.
Scott Davies, executive chairman and founder of Hilltop Food Group, said: “This is our fifth year running the Community Fund and it’s so rewarding to look back and see the impact that our grants have had on local businesses.
“I’m proud to be from Newtown so giving back to the community and seeing it thrive even more is incredibly important to me.”
The fund supports Hilltop’s social and environmental values and is open to charities, community groups, schools, councils, and not-for-profit organisations.
Applicants are asked to specify the amount they wish to receive and explain how the funding would benefit their project.
Previous winners of the 2025 Community Fund include Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre, Newtown Midwives, Bettws Lifehouse, Men Shed, Cultivate, Penygloddfa Primary School, and Croco Doco Dile Playgroup.
Projects must align with Hilltop Food Group’s priorities, which include promoting positive social change, reducing environmental impact, improving health and wellbeing, or supporting cultural and organisational transformation.
The fund is now open for applications until June 16.
Hilltop Food Group launched the scheme as a way to give back to the community that has supported the business since its founding in 2011.

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of June.
