The technology could “transform recovery outcomes” for hundreds of patients each year.
Steve Williams, joint clinical lead for stroke services at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The M2 Robotic Rehabilitation System is a game-changer – it allows us to provide high-intensity, repetitive therapy in a way that simply isn’t achievable through traditional methods alone.
“This will significantly improve patients’ chances of regaining meaningful arm function, helping them return to independent living, family life and work.
“It has the potential to transform the rehabilitation and recovery for hundreds of patients every year.”
The concert will begin with a drinks and canapé reception, followed by live performances from the Oscar Ellis Quartet, Cantores Episcopi, and jazz bands from Farleigh School.
The Hampshire Medical Fund supports hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover with advanced medical equipment not covered by NHS funding.
