A York-based insurance provider has announced a new awards scheme which shines a spotlight on the moments that make life a little brighter.
The Good Things Happen Awards, launched by personal lines insurance provider The Insurance Emporium, aims to celebrate inspiring stories from across the UK, with categories including pets, hobbies, and heartfelt community moments.
Categories include most talented pet, best wedding proposal, best campsite, and best photograph, with a focus on the everyday joys that make life special.
Francis Martin, CEO of The Insurance Emporium, said: “The Good Things Happen Awards are all about celebrating the positive moments that make life special.
“Whether that’s a talented pet, a beautiful campsite, or an unforgettable wedding proposal.
“We want to recognise the people, businesses, and communities that bring joy to others.”
Nominations are now open and will close on May 31, 2026.
Winners in select categories will be chosen by a judging panel, while the public will be able to vote in others between August 3 and September 11, 2026, before the awards ceremony on September 25, 2026.
Entries can be submitted via the official entry form on the Insurance Emporium website.
