The project is an outstanding example of the exceptional homes that are celebrated each year by Scotland’s top property awards and once again the search is on for contenders that can meet the demanding standards for quality, creativity and community impact that have been set by a distinguished panel of judges.

Entrants have until Thursday, 21 May to complete the application process that will put their individual new builds, inspired renovations, carefully-planned estates, commercial projects and sustainable developments in the running this time round.

Prime Property Auctions has returned as headline sponsor for the second year in a row and Newton Property Management has joined as a new category sponsor, lending their support to the Development of the Year category which will recognise a site where every aspect, from layout, range of house types and local amenities have been carefully considered

This year there are 19 categories in total, spanning residential and commercial projects. New for 2026, following a number of requests from across the industry, is a National Estate Agency of the Year Award designed to celebrate a brand that delivers consistent satisfaction across its entire network.

From the Affordable Housing Development of the Year title, sponsored by NHBC, to Family Home (large and small) and Apartment of the Year, the core categories are always hotly contested. However these awards extend further than bricks and mortar, with recognition too for the Residential Letting Team of the Year, sponsored by SafeDeposits Scotland and a Sustainable Community Impact Award that will recognise projects that significantly enhance the sustainability of their local communities, addressing broad social and environmental issues such as biodiversity, transport links, community health and wellbeing.
