Free cholesterol testing and heart health advice will be on offer as part of a new community health initiative.
The event in Southampton is part of the national Understanding Cholesterol Together campaign, by cholesterol charity HEART UK and Benecol.
It aims to raise awareness of cholesterol’s impact on heart health through expert talks, cholesterol testing, and lifestyle guidance from nutrition and cardiovascular care professionals.

Alice Drake, community manager at Benecol, said: “Benecol is committed to prioritising cholesterol awareness.
“We’re really excited to be visiting Southampton and helping more people take control of their heart health.”
Debra Bucksey, head of services at HEART UK, said: “These events are so powerful — they help people of all ages understand and manage their cholesterol to protect themselves and their families.”
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20 from 6pm to 8pm at Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton.
Cholesterol tests will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
