Beltrami Electric Touchstone Energy Open raises $18,000 for United Way


The 20th annual Beltrami Electric Touchstone Energy Open, held on Sept. 13 at Castle Highlands Golf Course, raised $18,000 for the United Way of the Bemidji Area.

“Beltrami Electric’s Touchtone Energy Golf Tournament has been a staple event for the United Way of Bemidji Area,” Denae Alamano, executive director of the United Way, said in a release. “Not only has the tournament given hundreds of participants the opportunity to support their community, but it’s also helped thousands of people in our community to thrive.”

Capturing first place in the four-person scramble was the Cooperative Development Locators team of Brian Passeri, Brad Davenport, Jeff Schneider and Tom Passeri.
