Hell’s Kitchen nonprofits and community organizations can once again apply for funding through the West Side Community Fund’s (WSCF) latest grant cycle.
Applications are now open and will close on Wednesday, September 11.
A group of businesses on Manhattan’s west side, the WSCF has given over $1 million in grants to organizations in Hell’s Kitchen Chelsea and Hudson Yards since its launch in 2018.
Eligible applicants may include neighborhood organizations, block and tenants’ associations, non-profits, city agencies, schools, health clinics, NYCHA projects, police-community programs, religious institutions and homeless facilities.
Individuals who deliver services, such as teachers, are also eligible to apply. Past grantees are also welcome to re-apply with new projects.
This cycle, the WSCF will award a total of $100,000 in grants. Previous winning projects in Hell’s Kitchen have included the Hell’s Kitchen Community Cupboard, Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries which provide supportive services and food to community members, and W42ST’s empty storefronts project.
