JACKSON, Tenn.—Last minute shoppers head to local stores for tax free deals.
Shoppers headed to Kohl’s today to browse for needed items and take advantage of the tax free discounts.
Kohl’s was just one of many area stores to offer special sales to pair with the sales tax holiday.
People were seen checking out the clothing sections for graphic tees, uniform items, and other necessities.
The sales tax holiday allows for no sales tax on purchases of $100 or less on certain school supplies, clothing, and some electronics.
Computer and tablet purchases under $1500 hundred were also tax free.
Unfortunately, there is not much time left to shop as the sales tax holiday ends tonight at 11:59 p.m.
