Global specialty insurer, Mosaic Insurance, has announced a restructure of roles across its underwriting and operational teams, in a move that is anticipated to drive growth within its agency business, effective immediately.
This includes, Liam Jones becoming Agency CEO, where he will oversee strategic vision, growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the specialty insurers agency business, along with product and enhanced underwriting capabilities across the group.
In addition, Lisa Fontanetta has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), where she will be in charge of managing overall operational strategy, efficiency and automation.
Next up, Krishnan Ethirajan has been named Chief Digital & AI Officer. In this role, Ethirajan will be tasked with driving technology, data and AI strategy, and external delivery partner relationships.
Charlie Mackay has also been named Chief Underwriting Officer, International, where they will be in charge of overseeing global broker relationships and driving global market engagement strategy, tactics, and execution.
As well as this, Anna Jay becomes Syndicate 1609 Active Underwriter, subject to Lloyd’s and regulatory approval. She will also manage overall portfolio structure and risk selection, with strategic oversight of all lines of business.
David White has been named Managing Director, Product & Portfolio Optimization, where he will be expected to oversee underwriting portfolio development, pricing and governance, as well as product innovation too.
Furthermore, Grant Hopkins has been appointed Head of FP&A and Strategic Finance within Mosaic’s finance team. In this role, he will guide the organisations financial strategy, as well as ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.
And lastly, Heather Oliver takes on the newly created position of Head of Corporate Affairs, where she will be responsible for business development strategy, investor and board relations, and broker marketing, among other focus areas.
